1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ColdToWarm (“the platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

ColdToWarm is intended for current university students with a valid .edu email address. By creating an account, you represent that you are enrolled at an accredited university and have access to the .edu email address you use for verification. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

By using ColdToWarm, you agree to:

• Use the platform only for legitimate professional networking and career development purposes.
• Not send spam, harassing, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate emails to alumni through the platform.
• Not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, abuse, or circumvent any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
• Provide accurate and truthful information during onboarding and .edu email verification.
• Not impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any institution.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

4. Gmail Connection

By connecting your Gmail account, you authorize ColdToWarm to send emails on your behalf using the Gmail API. You remain fully responsible for the content of emails sent through the platform.

You can revoke ColdToWarm's access to your Gmail account at any time from your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access will prevent the platform from sending emails on your behalf but will not delete your account or profile data.

5. Alumni Data

Alumni profiles on ColdToWarm are compiled from publicly available professional information such as LinkedIn profiles and university directories. We make reasonable efforts to keep this data accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of any alumni profile. 6. Limitation of Liability

ColdToWarm is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any outreach emails sent through the platform will achieve any particular outcome.

We are not responsible for the outcomes of outreach emails sent through the platform, including but not limited to job referrals, interview responses, or any other career outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ColdToWarm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
